Mavrik 12-08-2006, 04:23 PM I'd think playboy of the year would be more interesting read :D

The Cayman is just pure sex.
agreed X1000.....maybe they picked 'em with the ping pong game......you know there's always room for error there.... :p
Kostamojen 12-08-2006, 11:02 PM The Cayman is just pure sex.
I completely disagree, the Z4 coupe is one of the best looking cars in a loooong time.
TurboRX 12-09-2006, 01:42 AM completely disagree with that, I think the Z4 is quite unattractive.
daveyboy 12-09-2006, 12:13 PM Notice which pic has a hot chick admiring the car--that is the more beautiful of the two. Perhaps the Playboy writing team has been infiltrated by those that prefer the more phallic shape of the Z4... .
Dr_Holmes 12-09-2006, 12:27 PM The Z4 is like a woman with a hot body but an ugly face.
stirob 12-09-2006, 08:55 PM Z4 ftw. GT500 best bang for the buck, youve got to be kidding. That thing is an overweight, overpriced pig.
HP ADDICT 12-09-2006, 09:09 PM iono ..bang for the buck should be the corvette z06
I agree completely. The Z4 is fugly compared to the cayman.
left footed whooten 12-09-2006, 11:47 PM Z4 ftw. GT500 best bang for the buck, youve got to be kidding. That thing is an overweight, overpriced pig.
Ditto.
I agree completely. The Z4 is fugly compared to the cayman.
One more Z4 fan here

woody06967 12-10-2006, 04:19 AM BEST SPORTS COUPE: Porsche 911 Turbo
The Turbo sprints from zero to 60 in 3.7 seconds
-Yep
BEST SUV: Cadillac Escalade
Features a muscular 6.2-liter, 403 hp V8 and smooth six-speed automatic
-Disgusting
BEST BANG FOR YOUR BUCK: Ford Shelby GT500
Wide-mouth upper and lower grilles, and old-style front air dam, and a rear spoiler
-Because how it looks is really important, more important than the 4000 lbs it weighs!
BEST PICKUP: Toyota Tundra
Five inches wider and 10 inches longer than its predecessor
-Yep
BEST ROADSTER: Saturn Sky Red Line
Traction control, a limited slip differential and antiskid technology all come standard.
-No
BEST CROSS-DRESSER: Mazda CX-7
Wedge-shaped hatchback with knife-edge grille, 18-inch wheels and chopped roofline
-Decent
THE AL GORE SPECIAL: Lexus GS 450h
Sports sedan hybrid combines a 3.5-liter V6 with a high-output electric- drive motor
-Boring
PLAYBOY'S 2007 CAR OF THE YEAR: BMW Z4M Coupe
Boasts a 3.2 liter, 330-hp high-performance in-line six cylinder with a six-speed shifter
-The 315HP 2nd generation Z3 M Roadster/Coupe are basically a far better looking version of the same performance level car. The Z3 was perfect, Z4 makes me sad that BMW is so far off track in the visual appeal department. Also, the Ms have gotten to be too expensive.
euroteknic 12-10-2006, 01:33 PM The Sky over the Solstice? I see a lot of aesthetic talent went into making that pick...
Idjiit 12-10-2006, 01:37 PM No way should this:

The Cayman is just pure sex.
The Z4 looks much better in person, especially from behind. The Cayman looks like every other Porsche built within the last 10 years.
pignoseWRX 12-10-2006, 01:45 PM BEST PICKUP: Toyota Tundra
Five inches wider and 10 inches longer than its predecessor
are they trying to make up for something?
The Blue Pilot 12-10-2006, 02:11 PM iono ..bang for the buck should be the corvette z06
this is from playboy...what do they know about cars?
agree on the sports coupe, though
The Blue Pilot 12-10-2006, 02:12 PM The Z4 looks much better in person, especially from behind. The Cayman looks like every other Porsche built within the last 10 years.
and every other porsche, including this one, is pure sex :D
bmws got nothing on porsche. Not now, not ever.
devb16a2vtec 12-10-2006, 04:09 PM I think we need to take some playboy bunny's for rides in some STi's. They've got this list all wrong.
jasonallenross 12-10-2006, 04:27 PM BEST TWO-WAY PLAYER: VW Eos
Folding metal top opens and closes at the touch of a button
Guess the Bunnies need something to drive, the New Beetle convertible is getting long in the tooth .....
MattDell 12-10-2006, 08:05 PM The reasoning given for these picks is... pitiful.
Mrsir 12-11-2006, 02:23 AM They probably didn't think anyone actually read the articles, so the picks/reasons didn't matter, np.
;0
Beaverboy 12-11-2006, 10:18 AM and every other porsche, including this one, is pure sex :D
bmws got nothing on porsche. Not now, not ever.Yeah, OK.
j2los 12-11-2006, 04:03 PM Wait did someone in this thread just say that a Lexus hybrid with a 0-60 time of 5.2 seconds was boring?! Really? That just happened?
I agree with the rest of your assessment (even the Z3M > Z4M comment) and maybe that Lexus is not exciting in the traditional sports car sense, but a hybrid car that can blow the doors off 75% of the cars on the road, with Toyota reliability and RWD to boot. Hardly boring.
felickz 12-11-2006, 06:35 PM Ttiwwop

I have NOT drive a Lexus, but maybe the person that posted that, is going by the overwhelming consensus that websites and car enthusiast magazines have said time and again that Lexus are boring. Fast does not automatically equal fun. Being isolated from road-feel however does contribute to boringness.
SoRnj 12-11-2006, 10:30 PM Z4 along with the 6 series are the ugliest BMW cars ever. The new 3 series less the coupe are next in line.
There's not a single line on Z4 that flows. The front looks like a retarded stepchild. Only thing I like about them is that they're super low. It's true that the coupe looks better in person and better than the convertible but it's still extremely ugly. I thought the Z3s were ugly.... until I saw the Z4
NismoSkylineGTR 12-12-2006, 04:32 AM just give me playmate of the year
EarlQHan 12-12-2006, 05:01 AM The Sky over the Solstice? I see a lot of aesthetic talent went into making that pick...
Solstice and Sky are the same car. Sky is slightly heavier but has a nicer interior and is MUCH better looking. But they're mechanically identitcal like the Lexus ES and Toyota Camry. Would you take the Toyota over the Lexus? ;)

euroteknic 12-12-2006, 08:21 PM Solstice and Sky are the same car (Quote)
Yes, I know. That's why I used the term "asthetic" Just my opinion of what I feel is a classier design
