SUBARU was taken off a while back now, but the little subaru emblem never went it. Go figure its just a little too wide to fit on the trunk between the keyhole and tail light.

'02-'07 are compatable. The '06/'07 have a different badging, hence the reason that some peopel want '05 and older and others want '06+.

The red and white colors changed for 07 thou. Both went to a metallic pearl.
And they changed the grey slightly also.

Major difference for 06/07 is the bulletholes left in the trunklid when you removed the oval emblem. Its bolted on, not just taped on like the older SUBARU emblem letters were.

Just for clarity for those that dont already know.



BTW, im still looking for a wingless san remo red trunklid, any year 04/05/06 and any badging configuration, even a 2.5rs if someone out there has one. Just has to be in at least the same condition as mine. I will even do the trunk swap and if i have to, toss in some extra cash, or pay for lunch or something to make it worth the time.

^^^^^^^ I beleive he was just making a statement that any wrx/sti trunk is interchangable, regardless of year,even though most of us are aware of the color changes!

Might as well throw in the different color yellows, blacks, and reds while you are at it.
The color dosn't matter with the change, the physical shape of the trunk does. ;)
