Has anyone here had any experience with these shields.Ultrashield of Phoenix is installing these. They use 3M brand material. Is this the same service that Rockblocker offers ?

Thanks for your input

People say you can't really see it when the car is clean, but when its dirty its obvious. Is this true or can you give more information on it?

NAHH... the 3m is good stuff... its when they use that cheap stuff they had problems with it turning yellow. when its dirty your whole car is dirty so you cant tell.

maybe if you don't wash your car for 6 months

It looks awesome and you can't see it. And even if you could see it, it's better than having paint chips ALL over your frontend.

It would have been nice to have BEFORE the drive to Tortilla Flats... I have about 10 rock chips on the front of my hood now
But the drive was fun.... so whats a little chip in the paint in the name of fun

Nope.. Wasn't from you. I'm sure some if it MIGHT have come when I went offroad to pass the old man in the Mercedes.

I was actually hearing rocks hit me thoughout a good deal of the drive regardless of how close I was to anyone.

I just got the 3m stuff off ebay and installed it myself. it is pretty easy. the rock blocker dude will have a car specific kit that is cut better though.
