I suggest South Canada Auto Racing for good prices, not sure if they carry Michelin Pilot Sports though.. 1691 East Hasting is their address.

or www.1010tires.com they are Volco Tires and the prices are listed on there.

Bender works @ OK Tire on SW Marine Drive. I dunno if they carry Micheline, but they do carry Toyo! :D

Anywayz, you might want to check out Costco - I know they carry Michelines there, but the Pilot Sports may be on special order.

mwilkie's brother works at the Costco in PoCo, and I remember him saying that they've got a special tire mounting machine for low profile wheels and tires. Mike's brother is an auto-x'er with BCMA and races an AE86.

i'm not sure the one i'm gonna say is the same as protho's... its on the corner of commercial and hastings. they gave me a quote on the kumho 712's for $132 (stock size)

not sure if they have michelins.

i did see a set of pilot sports sitting around at costco last time i went to the richmond costco with a friend. not sure what the price is as it was sitting by the door on display

Wu Tang: $132 for Stock size Kumhos?

But I think I'm going to make my fender gap bigger and go for low profiles... haha

dude, fyi, not everyone can call me wu tang, nevermind woodtank, mmkay? :)

prostho: just realized i spelt your name wrong up there. sorry. the area isn't too bad... just a bit messy. the kumho's are definitely cheaper there (i even double checked to see that they're the Z rated ones). she also quoted me $168 for the A520's, which i haven't compared in price with anywhere but tirerack.

good luck on your tire search jengyigin

No prob there :) does that mean i can call u woodtank? haha :P jk. i never knew how u got that name, i just see ppl call u that hehe.

FYI, by comparison Volco charge 176$ for A520 in stock size

Keep in mind to that South Canada doesn't include mounting and balancing. They charge around $6 /tire, if memory serves me correctly. So add another $24 plus tax on top of your tire purchase. Also, if you purchase by credit card, they'll tag on another 4%.

Volco's prices include mounting and balancing.

jengyigin: I am going to hunt used summer tires later around Christmas, if you're interested at used tires too, give ma a list of the brands and models you like and I can try getting you some price too :)

Thanks for the plug for my brother Darren. Yes the Pilot sports would be a special order and Darren is correct that my brother has a mounting machine that is only used for plus sized wheels and tire mounting. Mounting and balancing is included I believe, and you get free rotations and flat repairs. If you do go there speak to my brother Todd and only him. He will set you up. Mention me and he will understand why you wish to speak to him.

:) Mike

I usually don't use big words - in fact, I don't know if that one made any sense, but whatever:monkey:
