286whp and 252lbs torque on a Mustang dyno. Dale gave me another chart that gave me approx. 300whp and 263lbs. of torque if it was on a dynojet.
Does that sound about right if it were a dynojet?
I'll put the chart up Tuesday I'll have to scan it and haven't had a chance.
sounds about right, my friend had similar mods except he had a blitz fmic and his vf 22 wasnt pnp and he put down 301 whp and 286 torque.
WRblueX_Guy 12-11-2006, 01:35 PM Great numbers on a mustang. What octane and what boost?
How does it feel?
breathinez 12-11-2006, 01:43 PM 93 oct and around 18-19 psi. I'll see higher numbers sometimes depending on what gear, the temp. and load. Maybe get 20 -21 at times but tuned for 19. And it runs real smooth pulls all the way to redline. Torque starts falling off around 5800 but hp has a steady increase to redline. Falls off a little but not much. The car is a blast to drive. I hadn't had a chance to go to the track yet but ran a couple cars on the highway on diff. days. I don't want to get in trouble with kill stories but its definitly faster. Well especially since the ecu was pulling timing due to a lean condition. And thats been worked out.
PaulRex 12-11-2006, 07:30 PM Nice numbers, Im sure Dale did a great job. I like that guy..
Have fun with your car!
BadTrip 12-12-2006, 03:14 PM RA gears = LAUNCH THAT BITCH!!! :disco:
jaxscuby 12-12-2006, 05:54 PM nice number from Dale...

 I still worry about the gears though. I have only one run with the RA's and I didn't launch it good at all. The tires jumped a couple times, bogged alittle and then took off. I was running 245 40's also so that probably made a diff. The stockers are going on Sunday.
Boricua Racer 12-30-2006, 02:41 PM Nice numbers! I'm in Wilmington with a VF22, Blitz fmic, Utec, 816cc injectors, etc.. and hoping to make similar numbers at the beginning of the year. Didn't know till now that Dale's shop is down the road from my girlfriend's grandparents! Anyway, if I don't make 300whp or more I'm uprgrading to TD05 or TD06 18g 8cm^2.
breathinez 01-04-2007, 08:33 AM Yeah you may get better numbers with the fmic and bigger injectors. Is your vf22 stock? Mine is pnp and ceramic coated. Even got the outlet(going to the tmic) pnp as well. Are you running headers or factory manifolds? You need to call him(Dale) in advance to get an appointment I drove to Moresville to an awd dyno there. He usually has like 4-5 spots open at a time when he has the dyno day.

Assami 01-05-2007, 08:59 AM what will the ET numbers on this? did u try ?
WagonGGA 01-05-2007, 10:27 AM Thats what I did, but I made 306hp 315tq on C16 with VF22 and about the same supporting mods. I just sold that and bought a 18G 8CM, hopefully I will make over the 320 with C16.

So I'm guessing you have the 2.5. For tyhe torque to be that high. Was this on a mustang dyno? How much boost were you running?
Boricua Racer 01-05-2007, 01:38 PM Yeah my VF22 does not have any goodies on it - no port or polish. I'm running the Gruppe-S jet hot coated manifold and it works great. Very high quality. I called Dale and Moorsville is a better option for me since it is closer... still 3-4 hours I believe. H&H performance in Fayettville has a AWD dyno and is only 2 hours max away. They are relatively new though...
WagonGGA I'm looking to do the same setup. I just hope the tdo5 18g 8cm^2 isnt too similar to the VF22... thats why I am debating tdo6 18g or tdo5 20g.
breathinez 01-05-2007, 03:37 PM I've been thinking about upgrading the vf22 into a pe1820 clone. Deadbolt can do it, I just haven't researched it a whole lot. I think it would perform better than the 18g. Some of the 18g numbers I'v seen on here don't impress me all that much. And I've read about some guys running the 1820 and it seemed they were yielding stronger numbers.
Boricua Racer 01-05-2007, 10:58 PM Yeah I've seen some VF22 cars pull higher numbers than the 18g. However, I believe the trap speeds of the 18g are higher. My last trap speed on a 1.9 60ft was 106 mph a year ago. I'm positive I'm trapping at or close to 109 now with a better tune and upgraded injectors. Other than trap speed I am a little skeptical to upgrade to an 18g.
Blouchturbo.com has VF22 upgrades check them out too. I think they offer 18g & 20g wheel upgrades. I might look into that as well with deadbolt.
