I really loved the way this car ran

Its almost a pity to try and do more modfiications (although who could resisit) as this car feels so stock like and seemless in its driveability and pulls smartly. Its a sheer joy to drive. I dont know why I cant be happy with this myself and had to tear up my STI already to put the big turbo in and all the rest of the insanity that goes along with it - oh well.

It was also a really great looking STI - white with blue wheels and blue stickers - looked really good - wish I had taken a picture

This car is a 2006 STI
Invidia exhaust - sounds great
Injen intake - short ram
SS Auto Chrome FMIC
Walbro pump
Header

This is on 93 octane 19 psi peak boost

nice job al, did you find that the smaller then stock maf housing in that injen intake brought any problems?

Ok al, i still havent figured it out. Why are your peak tq numbers so significantly later in the powerband then every other tuner out there on stage 2 sti's? Does the header really move the powerband that far to the right?

My peak tq on my stage 2 sti is at 3200-3300.

Do you see any gains by tuning the car on with a fmic? Do you have a particular opinion on the SSAC fmic?

No - I think we have a problem with our tach signal and rpm reading on the bottom is off by close to 500 rpms so the sheets all are a bit off in that regard

We have a new part on order and hopefully that will be resolved as soon as the Dyno Dynamics rep can pay us a visit to correct the condition

No problems what so ever

The funny thing about this car after we took it out on the road that that we had to slightly lower the boost as in 5th gear we were totally OUT of injector at 5800 - 6400 rpms

With an adjutsable fuel pressure regulator or a set of injectors we could have squeezed abother 15 TQ out of it with no problems

I'm the owner of the car and mad props to the guys at The Shop I am very happy and satified with the tune. I drove almost 100 miles to get there and it was well worth it. Al and Jimmy and the rest of the crew work hard and know what they are doing. My car is so smooth but violent at the same time. I am very satisfied with the fmic, big turbo and deffinently injectors on the way next. Thanks

That exhaust sounds mean - it may be a bit too loud to stay under the police radar screen if you get my drift

Hey Mark, did you fix what you thought was wrong with your car, or did the tuning take care of it. Nice numbers, enjoy the car. By the way what were the AFR's.
