Yup, same stuff. Most things from any EJ engine will bolt right on. Your WRX exhaust is probably wayyy too big for a 1.6L engine, but I would imagine that properly sized bolt-ons will be tough to find anyway. If your 1.6L uses single exhaust ports (per head) then Borla makes a decent header.

the exhaust is stock from a friend's WRX,so it really isn't that big (2 1/4inches)....the engine is a 1.6L SOHC ,but a ej20 swap is in the future, but for now its kinda light mods....

our TS and RS are based on the 2.5l NA engine. but if yours is accepting a dual port WRX header, then most WRX/STi stuff will work to an extent. pulleys maybe, exhausts for sure, susp(you know already), brakes, intakes(MAF vs MAP), etc.

you exh. is too big unless you have a larger intake than stock. but keep it for your planned upgrades. you're on the right track, just find related models in your area, and scavenge parts where possible, and buy the best stuff possible when doing real upgrades. it'll pay off in the end. have fun and good luck!

only if you don't open up your intake. it can only consume as much as it can expell. it's an air pump essentially. restrict one end and the other suffers. but if you plan on an intake and other mods to flow air/fuel into it, you're fine. it's just overkill for how few mods you have right at this moment. it may free up a little power now, but it mostly just sounds cool. you may even lose low end torque.
