Long story short David scammed me for $800 when I lived in Los Angeles back in April of this year (He is in Lodi, NJ). After tracking down his information, contacting his local police (who were very helpful and professional) I finally had my day in court on Monday. The expression on his face when I showed up in court was worth every cent I spent to travel to NJ. He practically fell over himself asking me if there was anything he could do to make things "right". Since he was already in legal trouble for a bunch of other things (it's not my place to talk about it) I told him to give me my $800. He had his mom bring the money to the court house (I will kill my kids if they ever put me in that situation) and we are square now. I had recently moved to the Hampton Roads, VA area so the trip to NJ became a little family vacation with a side trip to NYC. Bottom line, never let a scammer get away it.

Damn I didn't realize he was scamming people out of money. Awhile back he sold me some bogus parts (CF trunk, it came broken, and was probably stolen anyways) and I sent it back and he returned my money right away.
