I need to do some trouble shooting on my car and want to try a different ECU. If anyone has one I could borrow to check and see if this is my problem PM or post up. I live over in Surprise. If anyone is wondering my car is running lean I have changed and checked everything I can think of, Plugs, FPR, front o2, cleaned MAF, pressure checked the intake. Nothing is helping the problem. Thanks

Bryan

I've got an '03 ECU that I'm going to be using for my motor swap that's just sitting in a box right now, if you just need to borrow it to test. Let me know

Check this link. These numbers being different form year to year does this mean I can only use 02 ecu and a 03 will not work?

I'm using an '03 ECU in my '02. Research I did a couple of years ago when I bought a spare (for Ecutek flashing) indicated the following are OK for use in an '02:
AF411, 420, 422, 423 & 424
AJ030, 031, 040 & 041

I ran the '03 AJ030 in my '02 (factory part was AF422) for about a month with no problems before getting it flashed.
