Junior2JZ 12-13-2006, 11:57 AM http://www.icsperformance.com/heath-sti-final.jpg
Blue Files : are the vf39, catted APS DP, APS Cat back exhaust,Injen Intake, Stock TMIC,Fuel Pump,UTEC(old software)
Red Files : ADDED FP GReen 8cm with InternalGate, HyperFLOW TMIC, PE850s, Cat delete Pipe, UTEC with SD upgrade, open ecu AVCS tuning.
The graphs speak for themselves.. I tuned the car with both setups.. I cant say enough how impressed I am with the car, super quite, looks stock.. But KICKS ASS!
Panic 12-13-2006, 12:01 PM Wow, very nice curves...makes me want a 2.5 and green :)
Junior2JZ 12-13-2006, 12:13 PM Lol.. Do It!
Nice... Just what I have been looking for. Some good info on the green (yes, I know there are other around) This is the set up I am thinking about running or at least something similar
Panic 12-13-2006, 12:27 PM stop encouraging me...lol
Junior2JZ 12-13-2006, 02:06 PM Panic, DO IT!!!!!!!!
Im sorry I forgot to post that it was done on pumpgas @ 21-22psi.. I wanted to run a little more boost but the ****ty pumpgas said no.. These arent even the final numbers. I made 2 more runs over 400whp but the tune was slightly more agrressive. This was the safest power output with the gas that we get in the winter.. We ran her out in 4th and some of 5th with 0 knock..
BTW.. if anyone sees a plain white STI, tinted with an almost stock exhaust tone and a GUY with a big smile .. RUN!!!!
c'dalerider 12-13-2006, 02:58 PM Thats like the perfect daily driving vehicle, IMO. GReat job. The dyno charts look so nice. Thats all i want for my daily driver and plenty of power in an sti. I love it.

how quiet is this exhaust? That's exactly what i'm looking for. How does it compare to a greddy evo2? Junior, its Jason (had the blown silver 330 and now have the grey STI limited). I sent you an email yesterday. Look forward to hearing from you so we can start building mine!
thebigshow 12-13-2006, 04:12 PM how come the 500 rpm lapse?
Junior2JZ 12-13-2006, 05:13 PM If you read my other thread about the 35r you will see why I did that.. I can post street logs up if you need, it spools up fast!
soon2bblackongold 12-13-2006, 05:16 PM so is this the red or the green or am i reading incorrectly
Junior2JZ 12-13-2006, 05:28 PM FP Green is the RED LINES on the Charts, And the blue is the vf39
soon2bblackongold 12-13-2006, 05:39 PM oh ok thanks
edit: I'm retarded and have been on the comp for to long, words are starting to blur
klattery 12-13-2006, 06:52 PM What MAF voltage are you hitting? Thought you would be running out of room on the Injen (it is just 65mm right?).
Great results for a TMIC. I'm doing an 8cm 20G + TMIC + Meth, but waiting till spring to tune. Still thinking about the intake, and whether to go big MAF.

TurboXS FTW! Speed Density.. MAF doesnt like the voltage.. doesnt matter because the new 5bar map sensor says its ok..
If you need more info on it feel free to PM me.
klattery 12-13-2006, 07:08 PM I missed the SD = Speed Density, so you can run MAP instead of MAF. I'm stuck with Cobb AP and MAF.
Dynasty336 12-13-2006, 08:11 PM Wow those are awesome numbers! Now i want UTEC... but with the UTEC you cant get rid of say exhaust CEL's can you?
Boxer112 12-13-2006, 09:37 PM wow, this is awesome...nice numbers... especially with TMIC, do you think heat soak will be a problem in summer???
Junior2JZ 12-13-2006, 09:45 PM Heat soak will not be a problem in the winter.. We have an SMC kit coming for the warmer months. Plus we will make more power once that goes in as well.
As for the UTEC and CEL..l I can shut it off totally but I dont. I use the OPEN ECU to flash out the CEL lights for obvious things like TGVS/o2s
Sweet setup, do you think you could run more boost on pump gas with a bigger intercooler?
albie1kanobi 12-13-2006, 11:02 PM what rpm are you hitting full boost at?
InfamousDX 12-13-2006, 11:18 PM ^ You can basically tell from the graph....
Zornorph 12-14-2006, 12:34 AM Junior - want to retune my setup? Similar, needs competent tuning. PM me!
AdamBOMB_STi 12-14-2006, 12:50 AM 8cm Green's FTW :D
Golfa 12-14-2006, 01:45 PM why werent the pulls done from same rpm starting point?
Jenr33vspec 12-14-2006, 03:33 PM Your question may have already been answered... unless I am mis-understanding it...
how come the 500 rpm lapse?
If you read my other thread about the 35r you will see why I did that.. I can post street logs up if you need, it spools up fast!
From 35r thread...
Fixed both charts are up.
Those were the last 2 pulls for both the pumpgas and the PUMP/ALCH, I didnt let the car go to idle, I slow the dyno bring it back into 4th and then step on it..
I do that this way the car is still hot from the previous pull so I get a good solid number rather than a cooled down HIGH HP number as well as when its hot its more prone to knock, afr changes ect... I can tune all that out.
Not a KINGPIN car.. LOL...
Thanks guys
keaniegenie 12-14-2006, 04:16 PM nice torque curve.

Is this 91 or 93 pump gas? I can't tell from your location. Thanks
Junior2JZ 12-14-2006, 08:35 PM It is 93.. in the winter we get some additives thrown in and it makes for no fun tuning..
living4surf 12-14-2006, 11:26 PM i have my 8cm SZ49 going on in the morning and i can't wait to get it tuned.
It is 93.. in the winter we get some additives thrown in and it makes for no fun tuning..
Really? So does that mean we're better off waiting to tune my car til the summer?
living4surf 12-15-2006, 10:09 AM Really? So does that mean we're better off waiting to tune my car til the summer?
the problem with doing that is that come winter your tune may knock since the gas isnt as good.
VideoGameWrx 12-15-2006, 09:52 PM damm nice sleeper
xdrian 12-15-2006, 09:54 PM great numbers
4ced Fed 12-16-2006, 10:49 PM Its a great set up. I know that the tmic is the weak link but even after 5 or 6 pulls on the dyno it was still cool. I am sure that in the summer its going to suck but i have a few months not to be worried about it. ICS did a great job of fitting me in on dyno time and managed to get a full tune in a few hours. Thanks Junior
Junior2JZ 12-16-2006, 11:37 PM Glad you are happy with the car sir.. It made great power.
Thanks for the pastries! TOPPS BAKERY in BRONXVILLE FTW!
ted@mb 12-17-2006, 12:26 AM nice numbers

IMPORTEDCARS 12-17-2006, 10:12 PM want to race....
Lets do it MR versus STI... we can do it anytime you want, although there may be a handicap driver.. and its not the guy in the MR. ;)

Yeah, its me georgey. I came by the other weekend to show you my new ride. Saw Junior, Brian, etc but you were out somewhere. Checked out the new shop too. Great setup!
Loving the subi. No regrets what so ever getting rid of my bimmer. We'll talk soon.......trying to keep the car stock thru the winter, but then.......
