Put my snow wheels/tires on and I will be damned if it's staying in the 50's lately.
How bad is it to drive with them in this sort of weather compared to under 30 degree weather? Thanks!

Well the real snow tires, like my WS50's are not nice when the weather is nice. Knowing that, I still have the F1 GS-D3 17" on, and I have been finding the tire temps go up about 15 - 20 F (Cen-Tech IR thermometer/laser spotted) after a short drive, so the traction is still good at 32F after warm up.

The WS-50s on 16" wheels are not as good at wet stopping, and get squirmy if you try sporty driving on warm roads in the winter. Some of that may be due to the tire size itself. So I refrain from that. Straight line traction is very good, although I can break traction sometimes (stg 3). They are fantastic in the cold expecially in really deep snow .

They have seen a lot of use on dry, warm roads in the Winter yet they have not worn too much. That has surprised me. The earliest time I have put those wheels on has been Nov 22. I tend to take them off as soon as possible in March.

Good info! I have Dunlop M3's. I am more worried about how much they are wearing down. It just kills me to think they are wearing down faster in this 50 degree weather.......maybe I am being too paranoid.

You're being paranoid. Performance winter tires like the M3 are specifically designed to give good performance in dry, somewhat warm conditions. I wouldn't worry about it.

In most cases using winter tire in warm weather is a lot better choice than using summer tires in cold weather.
