how do you fully disassemble a sti headlight 04/05. I'm starting my retrofit but i can't complete remove the chrome reflector from the housing there are a couple tricky bolts i can't get to. If anyone knows how or has photos how that would be great.

which bolts? I need a better description to help you. I've taken my headlight apart for my retro and all bolts were easy to get to.

sounds like either the adjuster bolts or the screws for the center pivot ball. if its the adjuster bolts just crank all the way out (carefully). if its the screws just wiggle a phillips head in there. thats all i can think of that might keeping it in. if this doesn't help ask Lightwerks for help. he would know.

Lambu is right if its the pivot ball just stick a long screw driver between the back of the reflector and the housing and pop the ball joint out after you have loosened both adjustment screws all the way out.

I did this retro fit to my MY04 lights, I LOVE IT. and everything should pop right apart minus the pivot which has to be unscrewed. I think its an 8mm hex head. And the leveling motor must be disassembled aswell.

you may risk breaking somthing this way I suggest just unscrewing it.
