I see you decided to go turbo (if you were the guy with the fastest n/a RS). That looks really nice! Where did you get the eyelids? I would put that up for scooby of the year if it were my choice! Great taste! BTW, what turbo kit is that, I need a winter project...........

Adam's RS is a definite reason why I bought the RS in the first place rather than buying the wrx, much props to Adam.

I love old school RS's.. That's why I have one!!

My vote goes to adamsrs.... I've seen his car on this board quite a bit and it surprised me that no one decided to nominate him yet. Maybe I can be scooby of the week... in a couple of days. I just got all my goodies on my car. :D

Thanks guys. They are C-west eyelids. It is not a turbo kit persay. I took a turbo setup off of a wrecked 91 Subaru Legacy Turbo and slapped it on. Well not exactly slapped it on but took a week of oil and water saturated wrenching and peiced it together. I got the Turbo, Manifold, uppipe, waterpump, Thermostat housing, Crossmember, and swaybar for $300. And I got a thrashed legacy with it. All I have to say is it is my 2nd best investment in my car. HIDs are the first. Jsut wait a few days and I'll have my 18" Advan Model 5s on and in a few months a TEC 2, and then a new tranny, adn then a Blitz exhaust.

Yes my Black powdercoated stocks will be for sale as soon as I get the Advans on my car. PM or email me with offers. They are powdercoated and not painted. I am a Valet. I make minimum wage and LOTS OF TIPS, and drive Ferraris Porsches, Jaguars and WRXs. I'm only 18 so that is the best job I can find while I'm a student at UW

Where did you get the carbon fiber hood. How much was it. Was it clearcoated to protect from turning yellow in the sun. Thanks. And yes your car shoudl def. be scoob of the weekl.

Brucelee: Those two goons are me (WITH THE RED HAT) and my friend sam next to me. I got the job as a valet because they needed someone who could work often during the summer. Now I have been promoted and get tons of benefits and get to drive sick cars. The seats are the stock ones with a white and grey leather retrim, also the doorcars are redone in grey leather. I would love to trade them with anyone who has a set of the red and grey STI ones though!!

soo... I'm just thinking it's overkill. People w/ larger t3/04's have been running gc8 wrx intercoolers, w/ minimal heat soak (only while standing). You have to see some serious drop in pressure due to the extensive piping required for the large fmic.

Hmmmmm.... Let's see well since withing the next 6 months I will have a fully built 2.2 block and a TEC 2 running about 18 psi I dont think that the FMIC is overkill. Plus as to the point of lag and pressure loss.... Before I had the intercooler I was running 5 psi, and now I'm running 5 psi; with no boost adjustment. Also I have no noticable lag, boost is on at like 2200 rpm or lower!

Adam I agree, With the 2.5 there is enough low end to make up for a bit of lag.

did you install all that yourself? was it hard?

that's cheap for the turbo and stuff you got. what else did you need? if you could, PM me with the parts you used to do that. i would love to get a good economy sized turbo to start off with :)

i especially like the FMIC on there too..i would want to do that with maybe a WRX sized intercoller.
