ok so i been reading through here and it seems as if this is the product that i wanna go with. the fact that you can just down load pre-made maps or get the street tuner for user freindly tuning.

but im abit unclear on the products them selves. i have been on the cobb web site and read on more about there products.

anyways would my first step be purchasing the AP 2.0 THEN purchase the stage 1, stage 2 maps, or street tuner (for the 2.0) online to download. i know some ppl will tell me to seach......... and believe me.... i did. i found most of my answers, its just trying to clearify what i have found out. any info would be great. ill continue to read on.

When you buy the accessport it comes with Stage 1 and Stage 2 maps already, and a few others as well. You don't need to buy any additional maps. Some vendors will sell you pro-tuned maps to better match your car, and the price on that will vary.

Streettuner is a seperate purchase, but allows you to create your own customs maps, allowing you to have a map that is better matched to your modifications and specific car - assuming you know what you are doing, otherwise it makes it really easy to blow your own motor.

If you don't know how to tune a car, the steps should be something like this:
Buy AP and load stage one base map
Buy TBE, load stage two base map
Buy other parts, or just want a more optimized tune - go to a shop and get a pro-tune.
