I am selling Toshiba 80gig 5400rpm IDE Notebook HDD's BRAND NEW, SEALED IN STATIC BAG. These hard drives are already have a dell "interface" on the end of the pins, but this can easliy be removed to be used for any brand laptop.

I am selling them for $50 dollars picked up, or $62 shipped with UPS insurance. I'm located in Elk Grove village, not too far from Pompei/Streets of Woodfield. i will post some pics up when i get home from work

Just got 2 of these drives, both came pre-packaged in anti-static bags with inspection stickers. They are mounted to these removable frames for Dell PC's, but the frames are just held on with a few screws, and the hot swap plug is just an adaptor on the eide connector. Both formatted perfectly, no bad sectors found, and both read the same free space after format. Already have one mounted in an external case, and cant wait to get the other one mounted and installed in my carpc.

no that wouldn't work sadly but if anything as long as you have your OEM O/S CD this would be a great time to re-format and get to start fresh. then put your old HDD in the external enclosure and pull off all your documents.
