Here are some pix of my install. Prosport gauge and Subiegal pod. Really nice setup I think.

looks good. I have the same gauge wired the same for day and night I love it. Really good looking and peforming gauge for the price.

I have that pod and gauge, I'm in need of help. How did you wire it, and get through the fire wall?

There are several grommets in the firewall to use. We used one that already had some wires going through it.

There's one behind the pedals. Just look down there you will see it.

Thanks, and when you get it through, down by the pedals, do you feed it up through the dash?

I'm new to my wrx, working on stuff not the motor, and trying things by myself.
I appreciate the input.

is brightness adjustable on that gauge?

bikefreax

You got it. Just bring them up to where you are splicing into for power.

No the gauges are not brightness adjustable. They are bright but not to big of a deal to me.

Not reading 0??

Boo.

It will not read zero as if you are not boosting then it is in vacuum mode.

is yours electrical or mechanical? how was it running the wires and tubing between dash and a-pillar? i was going to do the same setup but wasnt sure if tubing would get pinched between the dash and a-pillar so i was going to go with electrical.

Thats why I went with the electrical one. No worry on pinching the tube, only wires to the cabin.

it should read 0 when your car is off - that gauge isn't.

Mine only reads zero, or close to it, when the key is tirned to acc. If it is all the way off it pegs itself down.

Yup mine to. It doesnt matter where it reads when its off, as long as it 0's itself out when you turn the key to acc.

Just installed mine and its reading low, and pegs at -7 when I turn to acc. Any ideas???

I have the same gauges, but my boost gauge is running about -22 when it is running. My cobb acessport says that my boost is running at -10. Not sure if i did anything wrong when i installed it or if that is normal.

Same problem here. I'm sending my gauge and sender back to Prosport for chacking. Maybe some are just off, maybe they are fragile and get thrown off in shipping, who knows. I'll post my dealings with them when I get some info back.

How did everyone get the prosport gauge to mount in the pod? I have the pillar pod from subiegal and it looks like i might need to super glue the gauge to the pod to keep it secure.

There should be a brass bracket that came with the gauge. That goes on the back fastened with the little nuts. As you tighten it down it holds the gauge in place. Let me know if you need a picture.

Hey i've seen that car before! Hey, it's Brian from the subaru dealer, looks pretty good.
I've got the blue series of prosport gauges and they are pretty much unreadable during the day (due to the tinted lense.)
Do you have any problems with reading the gauge in the daytime?

I'm in the process of "modding" them to be visible in the daytime.

See ya sunday, I should be able to go.

Good to finally hear from you again. Yes I have some problems with reading in the daylight. I did not put on the hood though. Not sure if that will help.

Have you signed up on stlsubaru yet? We have been talking about the meet Sunday. We are meeting at my house and then the drive to Moberly. You can P.M me or give me a call for directions.
