eight08impreza man what he has may be a carbon hood but not only do they not make carbon hoods, at least sold here in the us. there is no way that he could sell such a rare part (if it even existed) for 140 bucks dude.

search google, yahoo japan auctions etc. i have found nothing. I was 99% sure they didnt make one anyway and the price kind of tips that off as well. but about an hours worth of searching and not a single thing dude.

That is a picture of the hks hood from Japan parts so it does exist. Next time search a little harder before calling someone a scammer. His part may or may not be the real deal but if the buyer is going to pick the hood up locally they can decide if they want it or not.

actually i did and then double checked after you said that japan parts.com has no mention of that part for any year or any subaru???

Did you not read his post? How can I scam someone if it's pickup only? You have an issue with me, PM me, don't cause drama in my thread.

Post pics then dude! and with proof, ill edit all my posts to "bump"...as it is right now not trying to cause drama just very weary of a 140 dollar one of a kind hks hood is all.....im sorry if this upsets you I really am but until I see proof that its real I have no reason to believe its real and that even if it is local pickup someone wont show up and have "to just take your word" that its hks. im not doubting you have a cf hood for that price just that its a real HKS hood is all...I think being a public forum I have every right to try and protect myself and others from a scam...I don’t think you can prove it is real because I don’t believe it is... because of this thread I have searched and searched and searched and found nothing I called some shops and they know nothing!

i can tell you 100% that it isnt real...i have been in contact now with a couple representatives of hks that i know from honda-tech and a few other forums! i thought twice about posting this for fear that more people would be get mad at me about calling a scam, but so be it! ive been scammed and i would hate to buy this thing as a person who doesnt know any better and start claiming to have the only "hks" carbon hood on a street driven car in the us if at all anywhere in the world.

still 140 is a good deal for a carbon hood of any brand just wish he would admit its an ebay brand already is all. :(
