i found out today my rear driver side taillight is out. wen the headlights are turned on, they turn on, but when the brake is applied they do not light up. So i plan on replacing them but i know the dealership wont have them in stock. Does anyone know the type of bulbs they are and if i can go to autozone etc to pick some up. they are 05 taillights btw. thanks

....your manual should have the information as to which bulb type they are and how to replace them. .....and yes, you can pick up a replacement from most retail auto parts stores. Car manufacturers will typically use common bulb types vs. proprietary designs.

It's most likely an 1157 if your stop/illumination bulb is out. The illumination only bulbs should be 1156's. The bulb type will be in your owner's manual though as stated.
