I can start another one, because its on my car :D

My previous setup was a 2.5l sti turbo with NO AVCS on my stock TD04 turbo. For you 2.5l guys who don't know which turbo that is, it's the one that comes on stock WRX's. In other words, it's a little guy. I have an APS header with an EWG on this setup that I had fun with after Clark told me about this setup. Spooled super fast and the EWG helped prevent creep and hold boost longer than I expected on such a tiny turbo. That said, there's no doubt I was craving for more power.

So, in comes new mods. I added all the proper mods for the GT52, which includes modded injectors, fuel pump, inlet pipe, and tgv deletes (not necessary, but I did it).

I expected this setup to be quite a bit laggier than the stock td04, even though I added an inlet pipe, avcs, and did tgv deletes just because the turbo was so much bigger. To my surprise, the increased lag is almost unmeasurable!!! Keep in mind I have a stock WRX gear box, so my gears are considerably taller than a 6-speed. The boost comes on fast and smooth and holds really well to redline. I think I've got a lot more left in this turbo with a custom tune, and a ton more once I get my Hydramist installed.

Once I get tuned w/ the water injection, I will run a dynoplot for everyone to see. The only problem is that the only dyno in town is a mustang dyno that nobody on NASIOC references, and I don't have a stock sti baseline for this car :( The only other person I've seen post on here with a plot from them is bboy(Trent) who is running an Element GT65 kit. I do know the dyno reads low, but I'll probably do a run anyways.

Keanie, I take it your are running the Hydra in order to take advantage of AVCS? PMing you with my issue rather than posting it here, I look forward to your final results.

Yes, Hydra for the AVCS.
