This car was one of the first we built as a shop 3 or so years ago. We did some CP Pistons, DPR heads, and FP Green, made about 420whp in 2004.

He brought it back to add some cams, upgrade the turbo, and retune. We had to freshen up the heads with some new valves and seats, but the block was in good shape - just changed the headgasket.

Car was tuned on a combo of Ecutek and UTEC. The Ecutek map handles all 91 octane duty. The UTEC is used for fuel and timing on the 110oct map and for launch control/flat shifting.

Nice. Is there going to be a big difference if you go 8cm. I would like to hear how the idle sound now after you install the cams. Good job Dan. I'm might be seeing you again sometime next year.

Correct me if I'm wrong - it looks like you went up 15whp with the addition of cams and an FP Red. Or was the original 420whp Green tune with 110 octane?

The original 420 was on 110 octane... so we went up about 100whp.

This is the "black car."

Excellent. Hopefully people will be able to understand the performance benefits and trade offs of a headwork/cam set up.
