Quick questions two weeks before to head out to Alta...
I know they sometimes limit the travel to Alta if the roads get bad enough. Is it a CHAINS ONLY rule or a four-wheel-drive OR chains rule?
Thanks a lot...
John

Ahh yes.. Alta is for Skiers.. you freaking one plank riding freaks. :p.
*note to the peeps with lack of history.. Alta was the first resort to allow snowboarders even before Brighton.*

and now your a freak if you ski at brighton. getting off the crest and not hitting a boarder straping in is a miracle.
I think it may be the title throwing everyone off. I meant snowbIrd. I'm a skier (runs away to hide).
Just tryin to make the best call on the rental car.... 2wd + chains or 4wd no chains.
Thanks

I would say 4X4. I see tons of peeps that can not get up cuse of no 4X4. Also make sure you have the right type of rack on your car. *skis fit into a snowboard rack but not vic versa.*

AWD or 4x4, unless it's dry.
