I've got a couple EJ22T vehicles and I am wondering if it is OK to use the current turbo model filters. The filters I purchase from the store for the Legacy are larger than the Subaru OEM ones I buy for the STi.

If anyone could answer soon that'd be great. I'm taking a long distance trip with the car in about an hour and I want to make sure it's alright to use the new oil filter.

Yes, they are perfectly fine to use. I use the OEM ones in both of mine.
