Also if it lasts. Ethan 11-21-2001, 06:22 PM Originally posted by garface Are you selling this stuff?:D That's pretty cool if it works. That was my first thought too :D Imprezer 11-21-2001, 07:00 PM I have to agree. It really works. Try it for yourselves, dudes. -Alex dcoty 11-21-2001, 07:34 PM How do we know you dont own two Blue WRXs? Honestly,Im impressed, that does the trick, i might need to get it in black for my car, its a wee bit roughed up. Dan Coty bratmantlz 11-21-2001, 08:49 PM were do they sell these? product.>? Somber 11-21-2001, 09:04 PM it does work pretty well... it is a standard Meguires product - sold in a tube - can find at most every auto parts store I've been in - usually near the polish and rubbing compounds... garface 11-21-2001, 09:06 PM Is it colored or universal? initialx 11-21-2001, 09:54 PM Do they make anything for vinly interior? thanks, initialx Mr.WRX2002 11-21-2001, 10:27 PM It is universal... almost like wax. I must agree that it works very well. One of the best tools in my car cleaning kit. AaronBBrown 11-21-2001, 10:30 PM It work really well for surface level scratches, swirl marks, etc. I.e., it won't fix your paint if someone key's it. Basically it is a very fine abrasive. When I debadged my trunk, I had all sorts of small scratches from scraping off the adhesive. After using ScratchX, you wouldn't be able to tell that the badging was ever there. Oh yeah...make sure you shake the tube before using it, otherwise it comes out as a runny white liquid. jakester 11-22-2001, 11:42 AM NO I'm not selling it I just wanted you guys/chic's to know that it works to take out scratches. and as far as two WRX's if only I was that lucky. Just a heads up it took 3 coats to get it to completly go away but only took about 10 min. to do. Yeoman 11-22-2001, 02:27 PM I'm just unsure of how this product comes. When you say tube, do you mean a small tube for some scratches here and there? Or can I buff my hood with it? My hood is terrible at the moment and waxing is not helping at all. Los of surface scratches just the clear coat ones that make the car look "hazy". LVSUBARU 11-22-2001, 08:43 PM Is it clear coat safe? Mr.WRX2002 11-22-2001, 09:21 PM It is clear coat safe. It comes in a little black tube. Like sun tan lotion tube. I saw a meguires package deal at Wal-Mart last night, it was 50$ of meguires stuff(including scratch X) for 19.99. If I didn't already have half of the stuff I would have bought it. subymamma 11-22-2001, 09:43 PM This stuff is to prep your paint before you wax, to clean and set the surface up to take a topcoat of wax. Just be careful if you use it to rub in long strokes very lightly because by digging in you may actually be making new marks. Just go easy. And you need to wash the car before using it, then be sure to put wax over it. Go to autopia-forums.com for real in-depth on waxing and detailing. Kostamojen 11-23-2001, 02:44 AM Didnt work on my car... Then again, my car is just one big giant scratch :p wrxinfx 11-23-2001, 02:03 PM Check out: http://www.meguiars.com/ I did the free Paint Care Prescription - pretty cool product reccomendations. - and no, I don' t work for them :) Casey |
