Hopefully this hasn't been covered to death before, but why doesn't NASIOC have a dedicated "Wash and Wax" type forum? I see many other big forums, s2ki for example, have an entire section devoted to proper detailing techniques and related things. Maybe Subaru's are not meant to be clean all the time? :devil:

Just wondering if this has been brought up before and what was the outcome. I see pretty often people asking for advice on how to remove swirls, get overspray off the finish, whats the best looking wax, ect - but there isn't a definitive place to look other than the Interior & Exterior Modification and Care section, but it's hard to find anything that deals strictly with detailing mixed in with all the rest of the material here.

Plus, I've heard many wash and wax forums get "sponsored" by major detailing sites and have discounts and such...

Would anyone else think a forum like this might be useful? If there is enough demand, how would we go about setting up something like this?

Subaru paint is awful, so no matter what you do it gets beat up. And washing and waxing isn't exactly Subaru specific, so why the need for a separate forum? There's already plenty of sites on the net devoted to car care.
