what is the diffrence between the gc6 and the gc8 impreza? is the suspension diffrent?

dont qoute me on it but i belive that the "gc" stands for 4-door and "6" or "8" being the engine type. a true gc8 would be a 4 door turbocharged 2.0L impreza. you cant really go by just thoes number to determine what suspention the car has, such is the difference between the jdm wrx and sti. but i have to say that if you searched this you would have probly found the answer for yourself.
