Thinking long term about shortblock swap; I'll be going 2.5 block with forged pistons.
From what I have read, the WRX heads are not really a power restriction but cams are. That said, the cheapest solution looks to be just swapping in some STI cams...I saw some v7 ones for sale for cheap.
Can someone confirm for me that there is no need for upgraded valve springs/valvetrain to install v7 spec c cams into stock WRX heads? Thanks a bunch.
