View Full Version : Anyone know the part numbers or prices for these Subaru special tools? garface 01-03-2007, 01:56 AM Didn't know where to post this, but I'd like to know the part numbers and prices. These are the tools that hold the cam wheels from moving during a timing belt install. I know they aren't necessary, but am still curious. You don't need the part number though- the tools are ordered through Kent-Moore (you can't get them from the dealership). Just call them, tell them what you need, get the Vaseline, and go from there :lol:. Could I just stuff a small rubber wedge in there or even a nut and bolt with two washers, one on each side so they can't move? The Kent Moore tools aren't always the best solution to a problem, but usually are the most expensive one :). Can EJ207, or any EJ20 valves even touch each other when the cams spin freely with no timing belt on? |
