Gentlemen and Ladies,

Please, I am looking for input from all of you alky/meth/water injection users. I want info on the kits/setup's you are currently using. I want to update the FAQ I did awhile back that is stickied at the top of the forum. I want to know info like kit features, nozzle selection with your corresponding bolt-on setup, failsafe info for the kit you use, varible controller you use, or if you use Hydra or some other form of triggering, type of mix you run, ease of install, pump ratings, pump compatibility with certain mixes, and generally how well the kit works, and what you think of the kit (ie would you buy it again, or recommend it to another buyer. I remember when I first started using this, I had to do a lot of searching the internet for how it all worked, the history of it, how it allows you to make power, and other things. So now I see a lot of questions about kits, but not much in the way of reviews. If you guys don't want to post in public, feel free to PM me also.

I'm running a Coolingmist stage 1 kit. From the site:
"This is our DELUXE 150 psi Methanol/Water Injection kit. It comes with everything you need. This comes with our Shurflo 150 psi pump, 2.0 quart water tank , water tank taping kit and all the wiring, injectors and other things you need. This also ships with our outstanding brass checkvalve. This is a great deal. The boost switch is adjustable from 1-25 psi."
I got it when there was a special for $250. It was very easy to install. Not sure of the nozzle size, they based it on HP. For the price this kit is great and works very well. I'm using methanol in windshield washer fluid. If i had to do it again I might look into Aquamist also. If I have left anything out or have any questions let me know.

VF39 at 22lbs, at about 65% duty cycle on the stock injectors, using the smallest injector coolingmist sells. Open ECU tuned by Jestr Tuning. Soon to have an EWG with the VF39 hopeing to hold boost closer to redline (drops to 16psi) I'll let you know how the meth reacts also. I have already changed to SS lines due to a hole 2 months after install. I would also consider Coolingmist's stage 2.

Also the things I really like about the kit is the shurflo pump (which everyone uses), the brass fittings, the tank, and the pressure switch. I have my setup somewhere on here.

04 STi, td06/18g, 3" exhaust w/ hiflo cat, Typhoon intake. Various other supporting mods, but stock injectors. UTEC and UTI/UTI-Me (Thanks, NavyBlueSubaru!). CoolingMist Stage 2, 50/50 meth/water. M3 jet (6 gpm??), the new black pump. Controller set at min= 5psi, max = 13psi, gain = 10. IDCs <90% at 24psi :) 12 AFR at full load. Post what else you would like to know....
