I just got back from searching for a T70. I've looked everywhere I can, and no one has it in my area. I don't want to order one, so I was wondering if anyone has any ideas on what else I could use to get the bolt out. I was thinking maybe an allen wrench of some sort.

Use the right tool or aside from messing it up, you'll have to buy a new drain plug. Square peg = square hole, round peg = round hole. Ghetto superstar mechanics = your car on jackstands in your garage and you riding to work with that mouth-breather Todd who works in accounting. :)

You have to Google it, I got mine from some random tool house somewhere. I tried getting the plug out with some big channel locks, but I almost broke the channel locks squeezing them so hard, with the only visible change to the bolt being a bunch of scratches on the outside. :) DO NOT STICK A BIG ALLEN WRENCH IN THERE!!! You will hose the entire plug, its really in there tight from the factory. Like ridiculous style tight. Just get the T70 and a breaker bar and away you go. :)

Good luck! At least that bit will prevent Jiffy Lube idiots from draining and filling someones trans with some nice Pennzoil 5-30 motor oil :)

Oh, don't be on it. Make something idiot-proof, someone will find a "better" idiot.....oh, and they wouldn't drain AND fill the trans, they'd just drain the trans and give ya an extra 5qt in the engine.......

Ya, I found the same T70 from the same vendor on amazon.com. Both are the same price, so it doesn't matter. Thanks for the help guys.
