My 99 Impreza wagon is in need of a new clutch. All I really need is a stock-ish replacement. I've seen that exedy makes one for the 2.2 that can be had for around $150. Would that be my best bet?

-Does anyone make a replacement between stock and stage 1 (stage .5 lol)that will engage sooner than any others? The shorter throw from the floor until it engages the better.

-Will clutches made for the 2.5 work w/o any issues?
