Well I found a older post with a AWESOME gpmoto gt40 twin scroll setup and was kinda shocked as my turbo appears to be a tad bigger? I just wanted to share this with you guys.

when is the launch date for your car with that turbo attached?
Seems the guys in the 350z forums were not too enthused with the turbo though....;)

I think the internals of the turbos might be more determinant as to what differences might exist between both turbos.

yah those guys hate me bad lol. Launch date is when i get enough money for the rear end and driveshaft. car has already been cranked and ran for about 3 hours or so and she sounds great. I mean for being an open downpipe and all. I would really like the chance to tear down a gt35 or 40 turbo and compare turbine/compressor wheel diameters. I just dont see any sense in paying 1400 for a turbo that big. I dunno maybe im just too cheap lol.

it'll be interesting. Besides its about as big as most fmic's. I wont have any problems. See the thing is I pop my hood for the average joe and say all i have done is a bigger intercooler. Cant even tell unless you know what to look for.

thank you. if I do have problems with the intercooler I guess ill just have to do a fmic. I dont really want to but we will see. I will be happy if i lay about 400whp daily driven.

I personally like the subaru TMIC design as it has MINIMAL piping for response and a relatively good placement for airflow on both sides (air entering and air leaving) so to see someone go with a build respecting that is A++ to me

Yeah I am hoping this large turbo will spool pretty fast I would like to see 20psi by 4k which would be great. I dont really know of any others with a large turbo with tmic either. maybe someone could point some out? Id like to see their setups.
