Can I swap out my r160 rear differential on my 02 to a r180 out of an sti. If so would the front dif swap out as well?

b. You can swap it out as long as you match up the ratios correctly with the front and center differential and work out the rear axle issues.

Cliff notes: you can but it's an expensive pain in the neck.
