I have a 96 Sti RA.
Can I buy a fuel cut to make the car run with more boost.

The car used to run very fast at 17-18 PSI and the ECU did not cut, but now the car cuts soon as it sees 17.
Can I bypass that?

I know that with a power FC, I wil run better but I dont have the money 700 USD.

I think hks makes a fuel cut defenser. Probably other brands out there too.

If this is a new problem, are you sure there is not another reason it is cutting fuel?
