My A/C started making gurgling noises and quit blowing cold air. Performed some troubleshooting, and it wouldn't hold a vacuum. Put a small amount of 134a back into the system and detected a leak where the high-pressure line joins with the compressor.

Thinking the O-ring that fits into the coupling where the high pressure line joins with the compressor may need replacing, I ordered one through a dealership. The part number they used (73039AA030 PT751093 on the invoice) is not correct-it's too large in diameter and not thick enough.

Questions:

1. Does anyone happen to know the correct Subaru part number for that O-Ring?

2. Does anyone know the recommended viscosity of the DH-PR PAG compressor oil?

3. And, of course, has anyone experienced a leak in their A/C at this place?

www.subaruparts.com - they have a picture based part lookup - there are two connections to the compressor - one uses the o-ring you have, and the other one uses the one I mentioned above :)
