My stock 2.5 lost compression in 2 cylinders so I'm rebuilding and wanted some opinions on decisions or if I should go with different setup. I'll give a run down of my vehicle first: 03 Wagon 2.5 longblock, AEM EMS, Aeromotive FPR, Walbro FP, PE850's, Perrin GT35R kit w/Perrin FMIC.

So far I'm thinking Manlee rods, Oversized Mahley pistons, Cosworth crank bearing and main bearings with Darton sleeves, port and polish the heads, Farrera oversized valvetrain kit, Cosworth 264 intake cams and 272 exhaust cams, TGV deletes and completely balanced.

I'm also adding Blitz Dual SBC EBC and AEM's 19 channel serial data guages.

Let me know what you think or if I should change something.

Thanks,
Shane

I have decided I am going to have AR Fab do my engine build. Here's the plans so far:

Balance and polish Crank
Manley Forged Rods
Arias Forged Pistons with File Fit ring package
Bi-Metal Competition Bearings
Bore and Plateau Hone w/ deck plates installed
ARP Headstuds and Cometic Head Gasket
New Oil Pump
Delron Heatshield Gaskets
Blueprinted and balanced
Sleeved
Ferrea ValveTrain pkg
Competition Radius Valve seat job, resurface decks to >80RA and Valve Lashing

Can't wait to get it done and get it back on the streets.
