took my girl to the snow on saturday and had alot of FUN!

car got all dirty from crap on the road buti wasnt really worried...

went to wash it off today and it was like there were stuff pitted into the paint!

so my question is... will a simple wash + claybar + wax do the trick? cuz just washing it was not what the doctor ordered....

any imput would be greatly appreciated!

thanks in advanced..

I would wash it and dry, but skip the claybar until the weather is warmer.

I run my car up here in the salty wintery roads and wash it through the auto touchless car wash once a week.
Do not use wax until improved weather and you can hand wax it. If you wax over the salt it can cause damage to your paint.
The same as using a claybar with the potential for salt to scratch your paint.

BTW, I wish I could say darn snow, we have no snow on the ground. This time of year we are usually burried and - temps. Yesterday it was like 50 + deg.

Claybar will remove alot of the crap that builds up on your paint over the years. Don't do it when its cold out, its prob not the best for it and it's not a 10 minute job so you will freeze your ass off.

After you claybar remember to re-polish and wax since the claybars removes almost everything except your paint!

Its a long process but your car will look sooo nice.

LOL....finish your claying and polish and wax the car already. Keep your car protected! Dammit. :)

You can also invest in a set of mudflaps as well...that should help for next time.

Every time someone mentions snow you'll always see someone from tristate/nesic complaining....and that includes me!!

Crappy snowboard season... :(
