i'm looking for a used or blown tranny so i can rebuild how i want to swap into my car, i can pick up within quite a distance for the right price, or if you have say, a WRX trans with a blown second, i'll readily take it off your hands ;)

my buddy has one with a blown 3rd gear, but his car caught fire, and was thus totalled. hes planning on buying it back, but hasnt yet. i'll ask him what he might want for it.

he's trying to buy it back, waiting to see what insurance is gonna give him for it, because its an STi SB (w/ like 1500 miles on it), an APS SR40, and a handful of other goodies. i know he's giving me his 4pot's and possibly rims.

damn, i just threw one out! it was a 98 rs tranny (stronger case than wrx) w/a shredded 2nd gear. ah well. free bump for ya.

contact ecs. i think they might still have my old 00 rs tranny kicking around w/blown 2nd.

as you can tell, 2nd gear likes to let go in my car :(
