Im letting go my 1994 honda civic ex coupe

red, automatic, has every option its supposed to, aftermarket cd player, keyless entry

has 210k, with a new drivetrain repalced at 173k, runs great!

new brakes front and rear (installing rear soon)

New tires on the front and was maintained its whole life

Right now im tidying up a few things and cleaning it up to be ready for sale, It is off the road with clean title unsigned in hand (no waiting!)

Good:

Mechanically sound
Never modded, clean title
previous owner was a middle aged female
fresh inspection sticker - passed with flying colors

Heres the bad:

hood wont shut 100%, working on it (frozen latch)
little rust in rear quarter (like all eg/ejs)
a/c needs to be recharged
antenna is broken (sourcing a new one right now)

but my first car was a 94 hatch dx with 74k miles i bought in 03 that i got for 3.5k

with a new drivetrain, and considering the condition its in for a 13 year old car, (and the fact that stock hondas basically run forever), no, its not a bad price.

you got a lucky deal with your first car. brendans trying to not lose a ton of money on this, since he just bought it, what....3 or 4 months ago?

why do people feel the need to comment on asking prices? if its too high, it wont sell, and he may lower it.

its an EX coupe with every option which is very desireable and can not be compared to a unknown DX hatch, retail on this car can be as high as double my price.

for example Hondas hold a very unique resale, a honda i paid 14,200 retail for, was worth 14,400 3 years later by the insurance company
