I taped EPSN2's RPM2Nite hoping they might have something decent on there about WRC. Hah. What a let down they are. They do not deserve a show called that. A whopping MAYBE 30 sec. coverage of the GB Rally amid all their NASCRAP. :monkey: What a joke. Too bad Jay likes them sooo much. :lol: :lol:

i'm suprised they gave it 30sec. that's got to be a new record for them. i love how they'll cover busch and asa and arca and all these other low tier stock car events, and have preshows before they air the races live and all that crap, yet the two most popular forms of motorsports, which are the world championships (WRC/F1) get the shaft. i still find it hard to believe that people would rather watch drunk, second teir rednecks who can't read their pitboards drive antiquated cars in a circle for 3 hours than talented drivers flying down dirt roads where anything can happen in state-of-the-art machines?!?!

actually, this raises another question i've had for a while but never got around to asking, but i think i'll start a new thread so as to not deminsish the ESPN bashing ;)

The guy I work with is a big NASCAR fan. He came into work yesterday and said he watched the Austrailian WRC show Sunday afternoon. He said he was totally amazed at how good of drivers they were. I refrained from making any really nasty NASCAr comments and just told him I would tell him when the next one is on and how it was a Scooby that took the big prize.
