I'm getting fed up with this engine and am looking for a replacement with fewer miles and less bad history. If anyone has, or has a line on, a relatively low mile 99-04 Impreza/00-04 Legacy EJ25 SOHC engine, I'd appreciate some info about it.

Also, if anyone has info on complete WRX/STI engines, I'm also considering that route.

ive never had a problem with this motor, just got a ej20 from a friend for dirt cheap so needing to get rid of this to free some space, it has new valve guides/timing belts/head gaskets about 8k ago, and the longblock replaced at 110k i believe, the donor car had 142k on chasis. not lookin for much out of it if anyone is interested.
