Howdy All
First Posting ere
Ive got a 05 WRX sedan i just wana know if anyone of this forums has the Tein coil overs with the EBC (?) kit installed. How much can u adjust the damping rates on these coil overs with it? It be interesting to know since ive busted two struts driving at a normal highway speeds in outback australia. If anyone has them some input to them would be helpful especially if u have 17inch wheels too.
Cheers

"EBC" usually means electronic boost controler, I think you mean EDFC! ;).. oh and not to be a forum Natzi but this is not the right section to pust this question... Mods lock it up

Cheers for the redirect (thought it might have been a bit general for the suspension section)
Anyhow, does anyone have one installed?

since the teins are 16 way adjustable taht is the adjustment, all you gain from the EDFC is the ability to adjust the dampening on the fly

As someone who once owned some Flexs with the EDFC I can tell you that you are 100% wrong. The EDFC can basically half all of you your adjustment points, making them 32 way adjustable. And TEIN specifically states that you are not to change settings while moving, so thats a negative on the "on the fly."
The main advantage to the EDFC is that you don't have to remove the rear seat to adjust the rears, thats it. IMHO the range of adjustment on the Flex's at least was so small that the ability to go to 32 points was useless. If you must have the electronic adjustment I'd suggest the Cuscos, as they are generally a much better coilover.
