Press Release:

'Pursuit of Happyness' Becomes New Reality for Chris Gardner as He Drives Away in a New Lamborghini LP 640

Beyond Oprah, Beyond Will Smith
Nora and Sossi Have Stolen the Show

Since the all-new movie "Pursuit of Happyness" starring Will Smith, hit the big screen in late 2006, its star, Chris Gardner, has been one of the most sought after guest speakers in the Country. On Wednesday, January 17th, he was the guest speaker at the 2007 Orange County Auto Dealers Association's Annual Meeting. For Chris, this was a typical speaking engagement until five minutes before taking the podium. Little did he know, but his day was about to dramatically change. His encounter with two dealer principles from Lamborghini Orange County took him back to memories of his passion for exotic Italian cars and immediately expressed his passion to own the new Murcielago Lamborghini LP 640 and asked how soon he could drive one.

The executives From Lamborghini Orange County arranged for the LP 640 to be delivered to the event venue and surprised Gardner by handing him the key to an Orange LP 640 to drive to the airport. The kind gesture came from Nora and Sossi Keuylian from Lamborghini Orange County.

Chris Gardner approached the podium and gathered himself before delivering his hallmark story to the audience of nearly 200 guests. Poised, as always, Mr. Gardner opened his presentation with:

"I am so happy to be here. You know ... I have been interviewed by Barbara Walters, been with Oprah ... and Will Smith ..." then he paused ... "Nora and Sossi just blew them away. These two ladies handed me the keys to a Lamborghini to drive away to the airport." Chris was dangling the keys to the car in front of the audience and expressed his excitement on stage to be driving the Lamborghini after his speaking engagement.

As part of Chris' presentation, he made frequent references directed back at the owners from Lamborghini Orange County and how elated he was to be driving the super car. As his presentation concluded, Chris joked with the audience that it was, "now time to go out there and get some speeding tickets" ... of course simply joking.

"Chris is an inspiration to all of us and this was a spur of the moment gesture from us thanking him for giving back to others. After hearing he previously owned a Ferrari, we wanted him to experience something quite unique, a super car, the Lamborghini Murcielago LP 640," said Nora Keuylian, owner, Lamborghini Orange County.

Lamborghini Orange County delivered! Out in front, a beautiful 2007 Lamborghini Murcielago LP 640 sat patiently waiting for Mr. Gardner as he signed books inside. As the program wrapped up, Mr. Gardner posed with the LP 640 out front and slipped in the driver's seat while Owner Nora Keuylian accompanied him in the passenger seat. Chris tucked in behind the steering wheel with a grin on his face sped away as his scheduled limo driver tried to keep up with him to drop off his language at the airport.

I know I can't be the only one that thought that someone actually gave him the Lambo, right?

Still though - just getting to drive one has got to be quite a sweet bonus - on top of the $ has was getting for the speech.

So he already had a Ferrari? They make is seem like some broke ass guy got to drive a super car for the first time. Weak.

If it makes you feel better, I am a broke ass guy, and Lamborghini twice let me drive an LP640 (both hard top and roadster)

No press release about my adventure though :(
