View Full Version : Wheel gap??

I recently had some new tires installed... Looking at the tires, I noticed that there is a larger wheel gap on the fron passenger side, than on the front driver's side.

Does suspension sag?

I'm not sure how struts work, but I was thinking that when the car was on the hoist, the suspension "filled up with air" or something, and would take a while to settle.

It took me close to 40 minutes to get home, so I figured that if it was just air, it would've settled by the time I got home.

Any theories???

p.s. for reference, there is a noticable 1" drop on the driver's side.
The rear seems fine.

If you are running aftermarket springs check and ensure spring is properly seated, then ck struts to make sure one didn't blowout.

Now this might sound crazy but are the new tire the same size, far fetched, but it could happen.

Make sure you are parked on a level surface. An uneven surface would effect the tire gap you are speaking of. If you are parked on a level surface and you still have the same problem, check the springs. They are what effect ride hiegth. Do you have coil overs?

Suspension is completely stock, although if this is serious, then it'd be a good excuse to get something new... http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smilies/smile.gif http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smilies/frown.gif
