View Full Version : hid wiring issue

earlier i tried installin my hids..one side would work and the other wouldnt get enough power..then i tried switchin ballasts to the other side to see if that would help but the same thing happened..one side worked and the other wasnt gettin enough power..one of my fuses were blown and i replaced it and then tried again but the same thing happened..can anyone chime in w/ some similar experiences or how to solve this issue...? thanks:D

What kind of HID kit did you install? Did you make sure your ground wire is securely intact to the chasis? Are you using the battery for your 12v source?

EDIT: You should also disable your DRL if you havent already done so. http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=843079&highlight=disabling+DRL

How are they wired? Are you using an adapter for the stock wiring or do you have a relay harness?

stock FTL. i would make my own harness and use relays.

or you could just put your halogen bulbs back in and sell that junk kit before you annoy people...
