Guys...I had a quick question regarding pricing and fit of these HID headlights on an 06 WRX..Currently, I am looking for a clear white look with a hint of blue, which appears to be the 6000k lights...My questions are as follows: 1. Does anyone own either sets and what are your opinions on the looks? 2. Who are the most reliable vendors/websites with respect to shipping and price to purchase either or these sets of of? 3. If anyone has any pictures with a recently installed setup on an 06 WRX it would be greatly appreciated if you could post one or two. Thanks for the help.

I've got the 6000k kaixen kit on my 06 and I'm very happy with it so far. It's about a year old and I heard they last alot longer than the stock halogen bulbs.

The 6000k kit has the white look and slight hint of blue. They've got a group buy on this board for the kits, I believe the vendor is autodoodad.

I haven't taken any pictures of my ride but I've seen a few threads with HID pics on them.

Read the FAQ about HID lights. There is a difference between halogen and HID projectors.

I suggest an OEM STi ballast/ignitor setup, d2s bulbs, and h7 adapters.

Makes for a nice clean install with true OEM components, its a no brainer to me.

they both suck.

d2s bulbs + h7 adaptors from ebay and some oem style ballasts

it will end up costing about the same but you will get much better parts and light output.

as lightwerkz said..this is a no brainer.

you 06-07 imprezas with your h7 projectors are lucky to have this option.....:furious:

The oem sti ballasts are best since they mate up to the bottom of the headlamp. All you need to do is dremel out a hole (thats within an area already) and mount the ballast with 3 screws. The wires run inside and this makes for a nice clean factory like install.

I just did this yesterday, came out very nice...
