Yes it's a low offer but then again to me this '98 RS with a BLOWN MOTOR is not worth much more than an "L" with a blown motor (which would be fine too). All I'm looking for is a good shell. Since the motor's blown he's got no way of proving that the transmission isn't screwed up too... not that I need that or the interior.
Plus it's just that, an offer. If he didn't like it he could have ignored it, countered or said no... instead he said this.
