View Full Version : How do I read the logs from ecuexplorer?

Ok I'm a total newb when it comes to tuning. I am going to run some logs this afternoon to see how the car is running. But the thing is I do not know what I'm looking at. I don't know the parameters in relation to good or bad. I understand KC values are not supposed to be in the negative, right. If it is does that mean its knocking? I now the maf reading will max out at 5v but don't understand. I know its metered air. I've searched but would like to find an easier answer. I need to know what values are bad. I looked this morning and noticed my wastegate duty cycle was maxing at 85% or maybe that was the injector. If there is a good thread somewhere that someone could point out that would be great. And this is with ecuexplorer> and I'm not trying to tune the car right now but just understand what and how its reacting.

Take a look in the sub forum of "Stock ECU reflashes". What I did was look at other peeps logs and read what people say about them. You should probably pull your ROM file to see what the ECU is trying to do.
