These shields are laser cut out of 301BA stainless steel

This item is VERY new, we've not done a test fit just yet on aftermarket downpipes

Notes from the Manufacturer:


The heat shield bolts up to the outermost bolt hole on the stock TMIC bracket,
it will fit the STI and any larger than stock TMIC

It fits over the stock turbo heat shield (you can install it on a larger turbo as long as the WG actuator doesn’t get repositioned so it’s in the way)

Item will also will work with any aftermarket down pipes.

So, as long as you use the OEM TMIC mounts, this item will work

As long as your aftermarket turbo does not move the WG Actuator, this item will work

I was just contacted by Subaru

Seems that the Instructions are NOT CORRECT

Instructions state they fit all 2002-2007 Turbo models

when in fact:

they suit only the 2.5L turbo models



sorry guys...
looks like a major type error in the instructions. :(

Rad shroud fits all turbo Impreza 2002-2007


Heat shield fits only 2.5L turbo
reason: the oem 2.0L intercooler bracket gets in the way

so... if you have an FMIC, and a 2.0
You can probably still utilize this setup

very interested in the heat shield, any idea if it will fit over an FP Green?

That heatshield looks pretty, too bad it only will fit the 2.5L's. I'd imagine if you had an intercooler from an STi or 06+ WRX it would work, right?

yup, my buddys got an 02 bugeye with both of these just put on. definitely fits 2.0's

the wastegate assy is not moved
