Hi everyone,

2006 STI no mods.
I installed the AP2 and selected the Stage1 91 V111 map everything seemed to be fine for a couple of days.

I was on the freeway shifted down from 6th to 5th, hit about 4,500, 4,600 RPM and just under .1 boost, about 13-14 PSI when the car seemed to hiccup, (power cut out and restored). CEL went solid and the cruise started flashing.

This is the second time it's happened same circumstances. The first time I called Cobb and the responce was overboost, I thought OK, but this time I know I was not overboosting.

Checked the code and as you know AP2 could not read. I've since updated the firmware but I'm afraid of reinstalling the AP2.

Oh yea since returing to stock, problem is gone.
Has anyone experienced this or similar and what can I do to resolve ?

[[/I]I had a similar problem with a Ver2 AP and my 05 STi. The update seems to have fixed it.

Yea. Try to install it because now the code reader works correctly. I would be willing to bet you over boosted though.

I reinstalled the AP2 Friday, the update seems to have fixed the problem.

j87w, you might be right I could have over boosted, It's hard to read that silly factory Gauge.
