i have a 2002 wrx. My setup includes 16g turbo, 800cc injectors, and walbro 255lph fuel pump. (include more but not dignificant to this question) would it be possible to use the XPT stage 2.5 map which i think is made for ihi or vf turbo and sti pinks injectors as a base map for this setup. I would think that i could just take down the IDC's and adjust some other fuel parameters. I know that it is set for around 18-19 psi which is what im looking for. If not can anyone give me suggestions for a base map and for a limp map to break in the turbo. Also i have heard about using non-synthetic oil to break in the turbo, is that correct?

Go to osrecuroms.org and send Ev8siv3 an email since he develops the XPT maps.

His name here is turboge.

I can send you a map to look at that is pretty close to your setup. I tuned the map on a 2002 WRX with VF39 and Modded stockers that tested at 810cc as well as a walbro fuel pump. Tuned up to 20psi with the stock intercooler. Maybe a good basemap for you to start with?

Edit: Forgot to mention that the map I have does not have a tuned Boost Map since my friend is using a Greddy Profec-E01 for boost control.

He has to have modded stockers too.. if he has PEs or something then your map won't work. It may not even start the car.

Umm, No. He stated he had 800cc injectors, my map was tuned on 810s. I don't know exactly what injectors he has but I was not telling him to just flash the map on and try to start it. If he has other injectors he will have to adjust the latency anyway no matter what map he starts with, the injector scaler would need to be changed as well.

Once he got those setup the fuel map and timing would be relatively close, but would still need to be tuned for his individual setup.

So your map would work with modded stock injectors?
